Don has been a lifelong collector for over 50 years. His interests have centered around Canada, USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and a thematic bent for Bridges on Stamps. As well as the IPDA he is also a member of the following :  APS, ATA, MPPC, AAMS, and AAPE.

He is also agroup member of US Specialized, Stamporama, Virtual Stamp Club, and Bridged On Stamps

“As a play on words and word association, most everyone pronounces the silent's' of my last name as 'zee'. Hence the nom de-plume "Blais N Stamps". The name in fact expresses my passion for being a "Blaze' for stamp collecting.. My interests have centered around Canada, USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and a thematic bent for Bridges on Stamps.

Stamp Collecting to me represents a quiet time spent on my self-enjoyment of the hobby. It also fosters the camaraderie with other Collectors and Dealers, and lifelong friendships.”
